Andrew Orr is a highly skilled and fully Qualified Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine and specialises in Fertility, Pregnancy and Gynaecology.

Andrew takes a multi-modality approach that combines his extensive training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Western herbs & nutritional supplements.

He has trained in both Australia & China. In China, he has worked extensively in two major hospitals, specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology and continues to return for research, further knowledge & training regularly.

He is also the director of ConceptShen Chinese Medicine Company and is solely responsible for designing & formulating the ConceptShen range of clinically advanced Fertility and Gynaecological formulas & nutritional supplements.

Andrew's remarkable clinical success rates (96.1%) have drawn couples from Australia-wide and overseas to seek his expertise, and have gained Andrew a strong standing as one of Australia's premier natural fertility specialists.

Andrew is also a childbirth educator and regularly lecturers to health care professionals. He also writes for several leading magazines and journals and reviews for the Australian Medical Journal on complementary medicine.

Andrew also belongs to a worldwide fertility network.
Andrew is also one of Australia’s leading pregnancy specialists and is the most well known among midwives and medical specialists in Brisbane. He has conducted many research studies into pregnancy related areas such as natural induction (88% success rate) and turning breech babies (85% success rate) both using acupuncture.

He uses a combination of many therapies to maintain a safe and healthy pregnancy.

Nicole, alongside her partner Andrew, has been part of the clinic’s birth and has been involved at all levels of business with Shen Therapies and it’s sister herbal company, Conceptshen.

From a teenager, Nicole has always been a passionate advocate of Natural and Complementary Medicine, and enjoys working with both patients and the fantastic Shen Therapies team.
